2024 Tattoo Contests Information

(PLEASE CHECK BACK often AS WE WILL BE MAKING UPDATES PERIODICALLY)

$20 PER TATTOO ENTRY, PER CATEGORY

$20 PER TATTOO ENTRY FOR BEST OF DAY SMALL AND BEST OF DAY LARGE.

* Tattoos must be FULLY healed to be Judged for all categories. (other  than Best of Day categories) 

* Best of Day must be started and finished the day of the contest. 

​* A single tattoo can only be entered in to/ up to 2 contests categories. 

*NEW OPTION: ONLINE Contest registration WILL BEGIN ON FRIDAY, JULY 21 AND ENDS 1 HOUR BEFORE THE CONTEST JUDGING BEGINS. IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE, YOU MUST STILL PAY IN PERSON AT THE CONTEST REGISTRATION BOOTH NO LATER THAN 1 HOUR BEFORE THE CONTEST JUDGING BEGINS.

*CONTEST REGISTRATION WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE at the convention AT THE CONTEST REGISTRATION BOOTH AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN.

*you must be present for judging. you do not have to be present to win the trophy.

FRIDAY 

1:00 PM-6:00 PM Contests registration for all categories (Best of Day may register up to 9:30 PM)
7:00 PM Judging (For all categories besides ‘Best of Day’)
9:00 PM Winner Announcements for all categories besides “Best of Day”
10:00 PM Best of day Judging
Best of Day winner announcements 15 minutes after judging ends

CATEGORIES:

Best Color Portrait (For Portraits, please try to bring reference photo)
Best Black and Gray Portrait (For Portraits, please try to bring reference photo)

Best Chest or Back Piece
Small Best of Day - 7x7 inches and Smaller (Must be started and completed the day of contest)
Large Best of Day- 7x7 inches and larger (Must be started and completed the day of contest)

SATURDAY 

11:00 AM- 6PM Contests registration for all categories (BEST OF DAY MAY REGISTER UP TO 10 PM)
6:30 PM Judging (For all categories besides “Best of Day”)
9:00 PM Winner Announcements for all categories besides “Best of Day”
10:00 PM Best of Day Judging
Best of Day winner announcements 15 minutes after judging ends

Best Small Color (8”x 8” and smaller)
Best Large Color (8”X 8” and larger)
Best Small Black and Gray (8”X 8” and smaller)
Best Large Black and Gray (8”X 8” and larger)
Small Best of Day - 7x7 inches and Smaller (Must be started and completed the day of contest)

Large Best of Day- 7x7 inches and larger (Must be started and completed the day of contest)

SUNDAY

11:00 AM- 3:30 PM Contests Registration (Best of Day registration available up to 6:30 PM)
4:00 PM: Judging for all categories (Besides ‘Best of Day’)
5:00 PM Winner announcements (For all categories besides “Best of Day”)
6:30 PM Best of Day Judging
7:00 PM Best of Day winner announcements
